Recurring mowing, by lot size
This is the core of the business and the price most people are actually looking for. Rates cover the full scope on every mowing visit — mow, trim, hard edge, blow off. There is no cheaper tier that leaves the edging out.

What actually moves your price
Two quarter-acre lots on the same street can be twenty dollars apart. Here is why:
- Trimming footage. A fenced yard with a pool, three beds and a swing set has four times the string-trimming of an open lot the same size.
- Gate width. If the 60-inch deck will not fit through the gate, the back yard gets cut with a 21-inch walk-behind, and that takes triple the time.
- Slope and ditches. Bank mowing along a drainage easement is slow, careful work.
- Obstacles. Trampolines, dog runs, landscape boulders, twelve tree rings.
- Drive time. A lot on our existing Tuesday route prices better than an outlier twenty minutes off it.
- Condition on arrival. Grass that has run past the one-third rule needs double-cutting.

Pricing questions
Why do you publish prices when nobody else does?
Because hiding them wastes everybody's time. You want to know if lawn care fits your budget before you talk to a salesperson; we want to talk to people whose yards we can actually serve profitably. Publishing the range filters both directions in about thirty seconds.
Is the online estimate the final price?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is a range built from lot size, city and frequency. The final number gets set once we see the property, because slope, gate width, fence-line footage, tree rings, dog runs and how much trimming there is all change how long a yard takes.
Do you charge more for the first visit?
Only if the yard is overgrown. A first cut on tall, seedy grass is $75–$150+ depending on height and debris, because it is a double-cut job and clippings usually have to be hauled. If the lawn has been maintained, the first visit is just the regular rate.
How do monthly plans work?
You are billed for the cuts you get, grouped into a monthly invoice. Weekly service in season averages about 4.3 cuts a month; every-other-week averages about 2.2. So a $55 quarter-acre lot is roughly $235 a month weekly, or $120 a month bi-weekly, through the growing season.
What happens in winter when the grass stops growing?
Warm-season lawns here go dormant at the first killing frost, typically early-to-mid November, and green back up in early-to-mid April. We suspend mowing billing during dormancy. Winter work is leaf removal, cleanups, mulch and shrub trimming, all priced per job.
Do you take on very large properties?
Yes — open acreage, pasture, vacant lots and easements are priced per acre through bush hogging, roughly $125–$320 an acre with a $150 minimum per visit. Commercial and HOA grounds run on a monthly contract instead.
